There are less than 80 left. They are starving, and chemicals and noise don't help! I infuse my work with bright colors, which inject optimism and reactivate a mindset, and I often represent filters flowing through my subjects in tightly organized clusters of symbols inspired by binary code, pop culture, archaic lettering, mathematics, alchemy, and my personal iconography. The symbols represent the chaos and conflict between man, technology, and nature. The process of repetition is cathartic and gives me a way to organize this chaos and conflict, infuse harmony and stability, and renew hope that mankind will find a way to create a sustainable planet where life and technological advances can live in balance. |
