This piece was driven by the current plights of Koalas devastated, as they battle unending fires in Australia. I seek to place hope while telling about the koala's current plight. Blog post

The palette was inspired by the Australian flag since koalas are native.
Acts of repetition and patterning are continuous and very centering in her creative journey and come through meticulous, and purposefully drawn, symbols mixed with binary code (ones and zeroes) clustered, repetitive, and tightly organized.
These manifest her anxiety over our physical world disappearing and being replaced or filtered by technology and virtual reality. Perhaps her nostalgia for how life was before technology comes into play, and is part of the reason she is so hypersensitive to present-day life circumstances on this planet.
