We live in a world full of “noise”. Information overload seeps into our daily lives, often infusing chaos and influencing decisions we think we have under control. We filter stuff we hear to keep some sense of order and ultimately find sanctuary for thoughts. This piece was a reaction to recent news about endangered penguins.
NOTE: Throughout the work, you will find one's and zeroes and groups of many different symbols. The binary code(ones and zeroes) is the base language for all computers which make all technology possible. I incorporate the binary code to remind us how computers are penetrating every nook of life. I actually spell words that have been translated from our alphabet to binary code. The clutter of symbols parallel mnemonics with amnesia. An idea inspired by a universal feeling of information overload oftentimes resulting in memory lapse.
