Works in this series are informed by current events that occur by the direct impact of caustic human behavior and naturally occurring chaotic events. Through affective empathy, subjects like climate change, natural disasters, polarization, displacement, dissociation & emotional states are of particular research and drive these collages.
With this piece, I took a pause to travel through some highlights in my life. It was pure joy to be in that mental space for a brief moment and a reminder that it’s good to bring those joys to the surface from time to time.
